Erst seitdem Pfeffer f\u00fcr jeden Haushalt erschwinglich ist, hat sich diese Situation grundlegend ver\u00e4ndert. Und auch rund um den Grill ist Meerrettich inzwischen eher <strong>rar<\/strong> geworden. Dabei <strong>verfeinert<\/strong> dessen <strong>Sch\u00e4rfe<\/strong> nicht nur viele Grillgerichte auf besondere Weise, in seiner urspr\u00fcnglichen Verwendung tauchte Meerrettich als <strong>Heilpflanze<\/strong> auf.<\/p>\n<p>Und obwohl heute vor allem als Gew\u00fcrzpaste gesch\u00e4tzt, kann sich Meerrettich nach wie vor auch unter dem <strong>gesundheitlichen Aspekt<\/strong> sehen lassen. Schlie\u00dflich enth\u00e4lt er nicht nur viele Vitamine, sondern auch Mineralstoffe und Inhaltsstoffe, die den Meerrettich zu einem echten \u201eHighlight\u201c in der <strong>Hausapotheke<\/strong> machen.<\/p>\n<p><!--wpads#content--><!--wpads#content1--><!--wpads#content2--><\/p>\n<h2>Meerrettich in der K\u00fcche<\/h2>\n<p>Anders als im Mittelalter hat die Bedeutung des Meerrettich in der K\u00fcche <strong>nachgelassen.<\/strong> Hintergrund ist die breite Verf\u00fcgbarkeit anderer Gew\u00fcrze. Trotzdem w\u00e4ren Tafelspitz und Wildgerichte ohne Meerrettich nicht denkbar. Und auch auf dem Grillteller ist die W\u00fcrzpaste immer wieder anzutreffen \u2013 etwa als <strong>Dip, scharfe F\u00fcllung<\/strong> oder <strong>Zutat f\u00fcr Saucen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Meerrettich kann aber noch mehr. Denn die Wurzel hat sich in der Hausapotheke vielfach bew\u00e4hrt.<\/p>\n<h2>Meerrettich als altes Hausmittel<\/h2>\n<p>Im Meerrettich sind neben den Vitaminen<strong> C, B1, B2 und B6 auch Mineralstoffe und Senf\u00f6lglycoside enthalten.<\/strong> Alles zusammen macht die besondere Wirkung der Pflanze aus, die nicht nur f\u00fcr Erk\u00e4ltungen gilt. Auch als Umschlag bei <strong>Gischt<\/strong> oder <strong>Insektenstichen<\/strong> kann Meerrettich helfen oder kann <strong>Kopfschmerzen<\/strong> lindern.
