Bereits im alten \u00c4gypten wurde den Arbeitern eine t\u00e4gliche Ration zur Bek\u00e4mpfung von L\u00e4usen und Darmparasiten verabreicht.<\/p>\n<p>Im Mittelalter weitete sich die Verwendung von Knoblauch gegen Haarausfall, Hautausschl\u00e4ge, Lungenleiden bis hin zur Behandlung von Pestkranken aus. Die heutige Wissenschaft kann definitiv best\u00e4tigen, dass Knoblauch gegen Thromben wirkt und sowohl die Blutfettwerte als auch den Cholesterinspiegel im Blut senkt.<\/p>\n<h2>Knoblauch in der K\u00fcche<\/h2>\n<p>In der K\u00fcche findet Knoblauch ann\u00e4hernd weltweit Verwendung, aber besonders in seinem Ursprungsgebiet Asien geh\u00f6rt er an fast jedes Gericht. In unseren Breiten findet er besondere Verwendung in der mediterranen K\u00fcche. In nahezu jeder italienischen So\u00dfe f\u00fcr Spaghetti kommt zur Verfeinerung Knoblauch hinzu.<\/p>\n<p><!--wpads#content--><!--wpads#content1--><!--wpads#content2--><\/p>\n<p>In der spanischen K\u00fcche finden oftmals gr\u00fcne Knoblauchkeime Verwendung, diese haben ein etwas leichteres Aroma. Aber auch in der deutschen K\u00fcche ist Knoblauch sehr beliebt und kommt als nat\u00fcrlicher Geschmacksverst\u00e4rker besonders bei herzhaften und kr\u00e4ftigen Gerichten zum Einsatz.<\/p>\n<h3>Knoblauchgeruch kaum zu verhindern<\/h3>\n<p>Knoblauch hat aber auch eine negative Eigenschaft, mit der nahezu jeder schon einmal in Kontakt gekommen sein wird: Der typische Geruch nach dessen Genuss. Viele verschiedene Hausmittel werden im Internet zur Bek\u00e4mpfung und als Gegenmittel angepriesen, doch wirklich effektiv ist keines.<\/p>\n<p>Denn die beim Abbauen von Knoblauch entstehenden Stoffe werden in den Lungenbl\u00e4schen an die Atemluft abgegeben. Eine Neutralisierung im Magen mit Hilfe von Ingwer oder Milch verspricht daher wenig Abhilfe. Lediglich ein Kaugummi kann kurzzeitig Hilfe leisten.
