Dazu geh\u00f6rt unter anderem auch der <strong>Hokkaido-K\u00fcrbis.<\/strong> Dessen Wurzeln liegen zwar in Japan, seinen wirklichen Ursprung hat er aber anderswo.<\/p>\n<p>Denn erst im 19. Jahrhundert landete der Vorl\u00e4ufer des Hokkaido-K\u00fcrbis tats\u00e4chlich in <strong>Japan<\/strong> \u2013 im Gep\u00e4ck einiger<strong> US-Amerikaner<\/strong>. Allerdings wurde aus den mitgebrachten Exemplaren erst durch einen langwierigen <strong>Zuchtprozess<\/strong> der heute bekannte Hokkaido-K\u00fcrbis. Dessen herausragendes Merkmal ist nicht nur die Tatsache, dass die <strong>Schale mitgegessen<\/strong> werden kann, sondern dass er im <strong>Geschmack<\/strong> an <strong>Esskastanie<\/strong> erinnert.<\/p>\n<h2>Lagerung des Hokkaido-K\u00fcrbis<\/h2>\n<p>Der Hokkaido-K\u00fcrbis kann inzwischen im Ganzen oder gest\u00fcckelt im Handel erworben werden. F\u00fcr die <strong>Lagerung<\/strong> gilt, dass er sich im Ganzen mit Stielansatz zwar \u00fcber mehrere Wochen h\u00e4lt, allerdings <strong>nicht zu kalt<\/strong> gelagert werden sollte. Zu den <strong>Besonderheiten<\/strong> geh\u00f6rt auch das <strong>Fru<\/strong><strong>chtfleisch<\/strong> des Hokkaido-K\u00fcrbis, welches sich durch eine <strong>F\u00fclle<\/strong> an <strong>N\u00e4hrstoffen<\/strong> auszeichnet.<\/p>\n<p><!--wpads#content--><!--wpads#content1--><!--wpads#content2--><\/p>\n<p>Neben Vitaminen (Vitamin A, C und B) sind im Hokkaido-K\u00fcrbis auch <strong>Kalzium, Kalium, Eisen, Riboflavin und Thiamine<\/strong> enthalten. Deshalb gilt der Hokkaido \u00fcbrigens auch als einer der <strong>gehaltvollen K\u00fcrbise.<\/strong> Gleichzeitig ist er aber \u2013 wie seine Verwandten \u2013 sehr kalorienarm und erg\u00e4nzt den gesunden Speiseplan im Winter hervorragend.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00dcbrigens: Der Hokkaido-K\u00fcrbis kann zwar mit Schale leicht gekocht werden, allerdings eignet er sich f\u00fcr mehr als nur <strong>K\u00fcrbissuppe.<\/strong> Er kann auch mit der Schale auf dem Grill landen. Allerdings sollten vorher die Kerne des Hokkaido-K\u00fcrbis entfernt werden.
