Andere L\u00e4nder, andere Sitten \u2013 so hat es zumindest den Anschein. Denn auch wenn deutsche W\u00fcrstchen zum Beispiel in den USA beliebt sind, geh\u00f6rt jenseits des Atlantiks zu einem\u00a0waschechten BBQ etwas anderes. Die Rede ist von Spareribs.<\/p>\n<p>Mittlerweile genie\u00dfen Spareribs aber auch in Deutschland ein gewisses Ansehen. Zusammen mit der Grill-Kultur sind die Rippchen zu uns her\u00fcbergeschwappt. Und haben sich inzwischen in der Grill-Szene festgesetzt. Was sind Spareribs und wie werden sie zubereitet?<\/p>\n<h2>Spareribs vom Grill<\/h2>\n<p>Als Spareribs wird die Sch\u00e4lrippe bezeichnet. Dabei handelt es sich um einen relativ fleischarmen Bestandteil des Schweinebauchs. Trotz dieser Tatsache sind Spareribs zu einem echten Klassiker vom Grill geworden. Mitverantwortlich daf\u00fcr ist deren Zubereitung. Anders als in Deutschland werden originale Spareribs mit einer trockenen Gew\u00fcrzmischung vorbereitet \u2013 dem sogenannten <a href=\"https:\/\/www.santosgrills.de\/gewuerze-co.\/marinaden-rubs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rub<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--wpads#content--><!--wpads#content1--><!--wpads#content2--><\/p>\n<p>Dies W\u00fcrzmischung ist nicht nur von Region zu Region unterschiedlich. Jeder Grill-Fan schw\u00f6rt auf seine individuelle W\u00fcrzmischung. Nach der Vorbereitung werden Spareribs \u2013 zumindest wenn sie dem Original aus den USA nahe kommen sollen \u2013 langsam im Smoker gegart. Die Temperatur \u00fcbersteigt dabei nicht die 130-Grad-Marke.<\/p>\n<p>Diese Form des Grillens wird auch als \u201elow &amp; slow\u201c bezeichnet. Um den Spareribs noch mehr Geschmack zu verleihen, setzen viele Grill-Fans inzwischen auch in Deutschland auf R\u00e4ucherh\u00f6lzer, sogenannte Wood Chips. Letztere gegen dem Fleisch ein besonders feines und rauchzartes Aroma. Was geh\u00f6rt noch zu Spareribs?
