Schlie\u00dflich kommen alle drei t\u00e4glich mit Lebensmitteln in Ber\u00fchrung. Obwohl dies im Sommer auch f\u00fcr den <strong>Holzkohlegrill <\/strong>gilt, scheint dessen Pflege f\u00fcr viele Grillbesitzer ein Fremdwort zu sein.<\/p>\n<p>Dabei l\u00e4sst sich mit etwas Aufmerksamkeit die <strong>Lebensdauer <\/strong>der meisten Grills verl\u00e4ngern. Leider herrscht scheinbar viel zu oft die Meinung vor, zu jedem Holzkohlegrill geh\u00f6rt ein Quentchen Dreck, Asche und Ru\u00df. Manch Besitzer eines Holzkohlegrills scheint in diesem Zusammenhang den Begriff <strong>R\u00f6staroma<\/strong> mit <strong>Rostaromen<\/strong> zu verwechseln.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Reinigen nach jedem Grillen<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Zum in Schuss halten des Holzkohlegrills braucht es eigentlich nicht viel. Nach jedem Grillvergn\u00fcgen <strong>ist der Grillrost zu reinigen<\/strong>. Dazu geh\u00f6rt nicht nur das Entfernen angebrannter Fleisch- oder Wurstreste mit Stahlb\u00fcrste und feiner Stahlwolle. Der Rost sollte porentief gereinigt werden. Ein \u00e4hnliches Ma\u00df Aufmerksamkeit verdient der Rest des Holzkohlegrills.<\/p>\n<p>Nach dem Ausgl\u00fchen werden alle Aschereste entfernt \u2013 aus 2 Gr\u00fcnden. Einerseits wirkt Asche <strong>hygroskopisch<\/strong>, sie zieht Feuchtigkeit an. Was dies f\u00fcr den Grill bedeutet, liegt auf der Hand \u2013 \u00fcber kurz oder lang korrodiert ein ungepflegter Holzkohlegrill. Auf der anderen Seite behindern <strong>Aschereste die Luftzirkulation<\/strong> und tr\u00fcben das Grillvergn\u00fcgen.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Porentief rein \u2013 innen und au\u00dfen<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Mit dem Reinigen von Rost und Grill nach jedem Grillen ist es \u00fcbers Jahr noch nicht getan. In regelm\u00e4\u00dfigen Abst\u00e4nden lohnt sich ein Blick auf den Gesamtzustand des <strong>Holzkohlegrills<\/strong>. Ablagerungen auf Innen- und Au\u00dfenseite l\u00e4sst sich in der Regel mit <strong>Seifenlauge<\/strong> und einem <strong>Schwamm<\/strong> zu Leibe r\u00fccken. Einfach absp\u00fclen \u2013 fertig.<\/p>\n<p>Hartn\u00e4ckige Verkrustungen k\u00f6nnen mit feiner <strong>Stahlwolle<\/strong> oder einer <strong>Messingb\u00fcrste<\/strong> entfernt werden. Dabei aber bitte mit Umsicht zu Werke gehen. Schlie\u00dflich ist der Deckel eines Holzkohlegrills emailliert. Diese beim Reinigen m\u00f6glichst nicht zerkratzen. Wichtig: Heimwerker greifen gern zu Pinsel und Farbe, um ihren Holzkohlegrill ein wenig aufzupeppen. <strong>Davon ist dringend abzuraten!<\/strong> Erstens ist die Emaille best\u00e4ndiger als Lacke und Farben.
