Und auch beim Angler Sattelschwein kannst Du noch mithalten. Vom Cinta Senese hast Du aber noch nichts geh\u00f6rt? Daran k\u00f6nnen wir etwas \u00e4ndern. Diesmal geht\u00b4s bei uns nicht um den neuesten Gasgrill oder Zubeh\u00f6r. Mit dem Cinta Senese schauen wir uns wieder eine Schweinerasse an \u2013 diesmal aus Italien. Das Besondere: Die Rasse Cinta Senese ist nicht erst im 19. Jahrhundert oder 20. Jahrhundert entstanden. Bereits Bildquellen aus dem Mittelalter zeigen die Sattelschweine.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Cinta Senese: Eine Rasse mit Tradition<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Das Cinta Senese stammt aus der Toskana, genauer gesagt aus der Region um die Stadt Siena. Glaubt man verschiedenen Quellen, ist die Rasse bereits seit mehreren hundert Jahren bekannt. In der deutschen Grillszene ist das Cinta Senese allerdings immer noch ein Tipp f\u00fcr Insider.<\/p>\n<p>\u00dcbrigens: Die in der Toskana gro\u00df gewordenen Schweine genie\u00dfen seit einigen Jahren den DOP-Status (Denominazione d\u2019Origine Protetta). In Italien geh\u00f6rt das Cinta Senese zu den nur sechs offiziell anerkannten autochthonen Schweinerassen.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Cinta Senese \u2013 Rassemerkmale und Fleisch<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Das Cinta Senese ist mit 150 Kilogramm Schlachtgewicht nicht unbedingt ein Schwergewicht unter den Schweinerassen. Dennoch kennzeichnen es einige Besonderheiten. Da es sich nicht f\u00fcr die Haltung im Stall eignet, werden die Tiere im Freiland aufgezogen \u2013 und zwar in den W\u00e4ldern der Umgebung.<\/p>\n<p>Aufgrund des hier reichhaltigen und abwechslungsreichen Nahrungsangebots entwickelt sich eine besondere Fleischqualit\u00e4t. In der Farbe etwas dunkler als das Fleisch normaler Zuchtbetriebe, hebt es sich auch durch einen angenehmen, leicht nussigen Eigengeschmack ab.
