Heute ist Porridge – ein Brei aus Haferflocken – trendy und kommt urspr\u00fcnglich aus Schottland. Hier galt Porridge fr\u00fcher einmal als eine Mahlzeit f\u00fcr arme Leute und wurde von Arbeiterfamilien sogar zum Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck, Mittag- und Abendessen gegessen! Damals wurden die Haferflocken nur mit Wasser anger\u00fchrt, weil die Menschen kein Geld f\u00fcr Sahne, Milch und Zucker oder Honig hatten. Heute gibt es Porridge in einer Vielzahl an Zubereitungsformen – kalt und warm, fruchtig, nussig oder schokoladig.
