Leider macht sich langsam auch die Gewissheit breit, dass irgendwann die ersten Schneeflocken vom Himmel tanzen werden &#8211; und die Grillsaison in vielen Haushalten sp\u00e4testens ab diesem Moment<!--more--> zu Ende ist. Warum eigentlich? Schlie\u00dflich bietet der Handel doch inzwischen vielfach Alternativen an &#8211; wie mit Holzkohle betriebene Indoorgrills.<\/p>\n<p>Letztere wirken auf den ersten Blick ungef\u00e4hrlich. Welchem Risiko Sie sich als Grill-Fan hier aussetzen, wird oft erst auf den zweiten Blick klar. Oder an Warnungen des Bundesinstituts f\u00fcr Risikobewertung und der Bundesanstalt f\u00fcr Materialforschung und -pr\u00fcfung. Gemeinsam haben beide Beh\u00f6rden sowohl Indoorgrills als auch Hotpots in einem Forschungsprojekt untersucht und warnen jetzt vor deren Nutzung in Innenr\u00e4umen.<\/p>\n<h3>Gesundheitsgefahr durch Kohlenmonoxid<\/h3>\n<p>Hotpots und Indoorgrills, die mit Holzkohle betrieben werden, sind im Rahmen der Zusammenarbeit negativ aufgefallen, Hintergrund: Bei der Verbrennung von Holzkohle entsteht das geruchs- und farblose Gas Kohlenmonoxid. Beim Grillen im Freien unbedenklich, kann es bei einer Verwendung von Holzkohle in Innenr\u00e4umen bereits nach kurzer Zeit zu einer Konzentration des Gases kommen.<\/p>\n<h3>Vergiftung und Bewusstlosigkeit<\/h3>\n<p>Das Problem der Kohlenmonoxidaufnahme besteht in der Tatsache, dass es zu einer Bindung ans im Blut enthaltene H\u00e4moglobin kommt &#8211; was zu einer Behinderung des Sauerstofftransports f\u00fchrt. Betroffene sp\u00fcren die Wirkung des Gases aber meist zu sp\u00e4t, da zwischen ersten Symptomen und der Bewusstlosigkeit nur eine kurze Zeitspanne vergeht. Deshalb unser Rat: Wenn Sie im Winter grillen wollen, greifen Sie f\u00fcr die Innenr\u00e4ume zu Elektrogrills. Die Gefahr einer Kohlenmonoxidvergiftung ist hier quasi gleich null und Sie k\u00f6nnen trotzdem entspannt genie\u00dfen.
