Und ist auch so. BBQ Pilgrim ist eine US-Website rund um und \u00fcber das Thema BBQ. Das Besondere: Dahinter steckt Mark Dolan. <!--more-->Zugegeben \u2013 der Name ist alles andere als vielsagend. Und so k\u00f6nnte Mark Dolan auch Klaus M\u00fcller hei\u00dfen. Wenn da nicht die beeindruckende Biografie w\u00e4re. Denn Mark Dolan ist Professor an der School of Mass Communications and Media Arts\/Southern Illinois University.<\/p>\n<p>Ein Beruf, der auf den ersten Blick alles andere al seine Verwandtschaft zum BBQ nahelegt. Wie passt beides also zusammen. Ganz einfach \u2013 mit 50 beschloss Dolan, seine Sachen zu packen und sein Leben radikal zu ver\u00e4ndern. Kurzerhand wurde das Haus verkauft, der Job geschmissen und eine Reise durch die USA angetreten. Dabei ging es Dolan aber nicht ausschlie\u00dflich darum, aus dem Alltag auszubrechen.<\/p>\n<p>Mark Dolan sammelt w\u00e4hrend seiner Reise Geschichte \u00fcber und um Menschen, die eng mit dem BBQ verbunden sind. Herausgekommen ist die Website <a title=\"Link zu BBQ Pilgrim\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bbqpilgrim.com\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">BBQ Pilgrim<\/a> mit interessanten und lesenswerten Storys. Und eines mehr als deutlich machen \u2013 in den USA ist BBQ mehr als ein Freizeitspa\u00df. Es ist f\u00fcr viele US-Amerikaner Sinnbild f\u00fcr ein Lebensgef\u00fchl. Inzwischen ist Mark Dolan wieder an die Southern Illinois University zur\u00fcckgekehrt. Spannend und interessant bleiben die Storys seines 2-j\u00e4hrige Roadtrip auf den Spuren des BBQ aber trotzdem.
