Am vierten Wochenende im Oktober pilgern Tausende BBQ- &amp; Grill-Fans nach Lynchburg und geben sich aus Anlass der Jack Daniel\u2019s 22nd Annual World Championship Invitational Barbecue in Tennessee ein Stelldichein.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><em><strong>Dutzende Profi-Teams am Start<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n<p>Mit dabei sind mehr als 70 nationale und internationale Teams. Sicher werden auch wieder Mannschaften aus Europa mit dabei sein. Die Veranstaltung ist einer der angesehnsten Wettbewerbe der Grill- &amp; BBQ-Szene. Vergeben werden nicht nur Titel \u2013 mehr als 30.000 US-Dollar sind als Preisgeld und Sachpreise ausgeschrieben. Mittlerweile \u00fcbersteigt der Besucheransturm die Marke von 20.000. Lynchburg wird am 4. Oktoberwochenende zur unbestrittenen Hauptstadt und zum Wahlfahrtsort aller BBQ-Anh\u00e4nger. In insgesamt sechs Kategorien treten die Teams gegeneinander an: Pork Ribs\u201a\u00a0 Pork Shoulder\/Butts\u201a\u00a0 Beef Brisket\u201a\u00a0 Chicken\u201a\u00a0 Dessert\u201a\u00a0 Cook\u2019s Choice and Jack Daniel\u2019s Sauce.<\/p>\n<h3><em><strong>High-End BBQ<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n<p>Man darf gespannt sein, wer sich in den sechs Kategorien dieses Jahr durchsetzt. Unterhaltung versprechen die Jack Daniel\u2019s World Championship in jedem Fall. Zugelassen sind nur Teams, die sich bereits gegen Konkurrenten erfolgreich in anderen Wettbewerben durchgesetzt werden.
